Emergency Support

The nature of CAN’s work means support must often be spontaneous and applied in emergency situations. Through networks of contacts throughout the country and programs with various bases, CAN often hears about situations that require urgent action. These include rescuing homeless children to sponsoring medical treatment to funding transportation. CAN believes that implementation is key to development, and when a situation arises, those that can, have a social responsibility to act. As this support can be extensive, CAN gives priority to society’s most voiceless.
